Garforth Brass had its first rehearsal on 9th January 2005. Since then, the band has finished 2nd at the Yorkshire Regional Competition for the National Championships, won best 4th Section Band at the Easingwold March Competition and collected the runners up prize at the 2005 4th Section National Championships.
Most recently Garforth Brass won the 3rd Section Area Contest in Yorkshire (March 2009).
Outside Marching
Rehearsals take place every Sunday, in Garforth, Leeds, from 7pm to 8.30pm.
