    Julie started playing the cornet in November 2001 at East Garforth Primary School. She now continues her cornet lessons with Steven Bailey at Garforth Community College, where she is also in quite a few bands and ensembles.
    Julie passed her Grade 5 Cornet with Distinction and Grade 5 Theory with Merit in 2008.
